Join the Maths department of a large secondary school in the Brackey area of Northamptonshire, providing support for pupils aged 11-16.

  • Full-time Maths teacher.
  • Start Date -  September 2024
  • Paid in line with teaching scale - £30,000 - £46,525
  • Teaching pupils aged 11-16.

The incoming Maths teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and GCSE and will be expected to take on a full timetable. The successful candidate will also be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside delivering lessons to meet the needs of learners at varying levels of learning ability. It will also be important to monitor and assess pupils’ progress and be able to report this back to the Maths department should it require further discussion.

Our client school is in Brackley, and can be accessed easily by surrounding areas of Northampton, Milton Keynes and Towcester.  For candidates who do not drive, the school is also easily accessible via public transport. Offering a large car park for staff.

To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
