Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £80 - £110 Per day

  • Supporting secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom activities
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with additional needs
  • Helping students to develop social and communication skills
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with secondary school students with SEN

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
  • First Aid certification
  • Mental Health First Aid training
  • Part-time hours, typically during school hours
  • Work may involve bending, lifting, and kneeling
  • Collaborative work environment with teachers and other support staff
