Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and dynamic PE Coach to join a vibrant mainstream primary school community in Blackpool (FY3) starting in September 2024.

Position: PE Coach

Location: Blackpool (FY3)

Start Date: 3rd September 2024

Pay: Competitive rates of pay. Between £12.90 - £15 per hour depending on experience

About the Role:

As a PE Coach, you will have the rewarding opportunity to engage with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, fostering their love for physical activity and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering exciting and inclusive PE lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Inspiring students to develop their physical skills, confidence, and teamwork abilities.
  • Organizing and leading sports clubs, intra-school competitions, and external fixtures.
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to integrate PE into the broader curriculum.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or working towards qualification in Physical Education or relevant field.
  • Experience working with children in an educational or sports setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan engaging and progressive PE sessions.
  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and positive development of students.
